Kim and Jon Albrecht, the owners and operators of Prestwick Custom Homes, have been building custom homes since they founded their own custom home building company in 1988.

They have been recognized as a premier home builder with an impeccable reputation for quality, integrity and an unmatched customer experience – the “Prestwick Experience”.

Meet Jon Albrecht

Jon is a third generation craftsman who began honing his craft on custom home jobsites at the age of 14. Learning to read and visualize blueprints early on, Jon gained the hands-on experience in everything from dirt to doorknobs.

Jon graduated from Indiana University and obtained his CPA designation while working for several construction companies. He then continued his construction journey providing tax and accounting services to contractors, never truly separating himself from the construction industry.

Eventually Jon’s homebuilding roots, and a desire to own his own business came together in 1988 with the formation of Prestwick Custom Homes. By then Jon and Kim had married and the founding team was formed.

Meet Kim Albrecht

All the jobs Kim had prior to founding Prestwick Custom Homes with Jon prepared her for this role. From high school, through college, and post-graduation Kim worked in the service industry.

She has always enjoyed meeting people’s needs; whether that’s helping a customer find the “just right” pillow when she worked at Pottery Barn, the perfect paint color for the great room, or the ideal hue of granite for the kitchen counters. Kim finds the process of putting together a tailor-made house for each client fun and exciting.

Every trip she makes with a client is a treasure hunt, as together they find the perfect elements to complement and finish the home. Kim’s goal for the entire process is to hear her client say “I love it!” after every selection.

Jon and Kim, and our craftsmen, all live and are raising our families in the East Valley. We build custom homes and complete home remodels/renovations in subdivisions, county islands and acreage throughout the following East Valley communities.
